What is a Parlay Bet?
An parlay bet is technically 2 or more bets combined. Parlay bets with only 2 legs are called "2 leg parlays" and parlay bets with 3 legs are called "3 leg parlays", and so on
What is a Win Parlay?
A win parlay is a parlay bet that contains only teams to win. For example, Man Utd to beat Liverpool, Spurs to beat Arsenal and Man City to beat Chelsea. Each team has to win for the parlay to win.
What is the best number of bets to put in a parlay?
There is no optimal number of legs to wager on a parlay to give yourself a better chance of winning. Some parlay bets might include 10 legs, but all very low odds, whereas other parlays might have just 2 or 3 legs but with much higher odds.
How To Calculate Parlay Odds
Calculating the odds for a parlay is a relatively simple process. There are many parlay calculators online, and sportsbooks will always calculate your parlay odds as you build your bet slip, but if you want to quickly estimate your total parlay odds you simply have to multiply each leg in your parlay. To start, multiply the decimal odds of any leg in your parlay by another leg. Then keep multiplying the result by the next leg. For example, if you had four legs in a parlay with the following odds - 7.00, 4.50, 3.00 and 9.00, simply do this - 7.00 x 4.50 = 31.5. 31.5 x 3.00 = 94.5, and finally 94.5 x 9 = 850.5. So, your parlay odds on these four legs are 850.50 in decimal, or around 850/1 in fractional odds.
